02Who this is for (and who it is not)

For you

  • You love the Dungeon Keeper taste of standing on the dungeon's side against the raiders
  • You like designing a system, then watching it run and balance itself
  • You want a Japanese doujin gem with zero English reviews the West has not found at all

Not for you

  • You need English support right now (it is Japanese-only, the wall is language)
  • You want to control units directly (this is indirect control: you shape terrain and the ecosystem)

Dungeon ni Seisoku da! Buried gem

A Japanese doujin 2D dungeon-management sim where you do not place traps: as a nature god you reshape terrain, spawn creatures, and grow an ecosystem of predation and breeding that swallows the adventurers coming for your crystal. Very Positive in Japan at 101 reviews and 89 percent, but it has no English support, so the West cannot read it yet (zero English reviews).

Dungeon Keeper Gold The origin

The origin of standing on the dungeon's side: the 1997 Bullfrog classic where you dig out a lair, place traps and monsters, and repel the heroes who invade (the Gold edition returned to Steam in 2024). This gem replaces that placement with an ecosystem of predation and breeding that runs on its own.
